Morning your tour will begin with a visit to Raj Ghat, a simple memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. He is also famously known as the “father of the nation”. Continue your tour to Jama Masjid, one of Asia’s largest mosques. People stream in and out of the mosque continuously and the presence of a nearby bazaar means that the area is rarely quiet. Enjoy the rickshaw ride at Old Delhi peddling through the narrow by-lanes of Chandani Chowk and visit spices market is one of the largest wholesale spice markets in Asia, It is well worth a visit for the intensity of its sights and smells alone. Along with fresh spices of all shapes, sizes, and colors, this market sells myriad nuts, herbs, dry fruits, and grains.

In the afternoon visit the Qutb Minar complex which dominates the historic site where Qutb-ud-Din-Aibak laid the foundation of Delhi Sultanate. Its sandstone minaret, 72.5 m high, has a staircase of 379 steps to reach the summit. It is the tallest stone tower in India and one of the most successful Muslim buildings. You will then discover the Humayun Mausoleum, the 2nd Mughal emperor. Built in the middle of the 16th century at the request of Hamida Banu Begum (the widow of Emperor Humayun), the mausoleum is a fine example of early Mughal architecture.

Drive past British Architect by Edward Lutyens, with the task of building the new capital in Delhi. Lutyen’s Delhi primarily consists of the administrative area of the capital, India Gate  and the Viceroy’s House (which is now known as Rashtrapati Bhawan). A visit to Delhi is incomplete without going to Lutyen’s Delhi which one can say, is the place where the Central Government of India currently resides and works from.

Today, you will travel by surface to Shimla, Popularly known as Queen of Hills, Shimla was the summer hill resort of the British Raj, located in the foothills of the Himalayas. Nestled beautifully between snowcapped mountains and a dense forest of pine and oak, the hill station is famous for its Victorian-style architecture. Earlier a sleepy hamlet is now a favorite tourist destination around the world.

The rest of the day is at leisure. You may take a walking tour to Shimla on Mall Road which is the main hub for tourists. The road has located a level below the ridge.

Enjoy a visit to the former residence of the British Viceroy of India and learn about the reign of the British Raj in India. The Vice Regal Lodge houses a collection of articles and photographs dating back to the time of British rule. Later visit the Jakhu Hanuman Statue -A 108ft (33m) vermillion-pink statue of monkey-god Hanuman pokes his head above the treetops on Shimla’s highest hilltop.

In the afternoon visit The Ridge and the Mall (downtown area) as also learn about the everyday life of the local in the area.

Today, Early breakfast, you will start to drive through the beautiful villages of Fagu, Theog, Matiana, Narkanda and Rampur. En route, we will have many comfort breaks and will visit the Apple orchards and Hattu peak (3,400 metres/ 11,154 feet) at Narkanda, from where you can have a spectacular view of the mighty Central Himalayas and will also visit the traditional wooden carved temple of Goddess Kali on the top.

We will also stop by a small lake on the way to Hattu Peak. Later on, we continue our drive to Sarahan via Rampur and en route, we will stop for the lunch break and various picture breaks and comfort breaks.

Sarahan – the tiny village offers splendid views of Shrikhand Mahadev Peak (5,155 metres). The major attraction in Sarahan is the centuries-old Hindu temple of Goddess Bhimakali. Steeped in legend, the temple complex is a resplendent example of hill architecture. Sarahan is also the gateway to Kinnaur valley. Upon arrival, check-in at Hotel.

Today, you will visit the famous temple of Bhimakali at Sarahan. This is the same temple in which human sacrifices were made about two centuries ago.

After visiting the temple we will continue driving to Sangla, where you will check-in at your hotel or could also choose to stay in fixed luxury tented accommodation. After lunch, you will be taken on a walk through Kamru and Sangla villages ( 1-2 hrs) and we will visit the beautifully carved old temples and Buddhist monasteries.

You will have plenty of opportunities to speak to the local people in these valleys. The Sangla valley is also known as the Baspa Sangla valley, after river Baspa which flows through the valley and it is the part of Kinnaur valley

Today, This morning after breakfast we will be driving you to Chitkul ( 20 km, total 1 hrs, each side – 3,450 meters / 11,318 feet.) which is the last village on the Indian side on the Indo–Tibetan border. The village of Chitkul is like something from a fairy tale, and you will have a chance to walk slowly around it. The landscapes are stunning, and you will have plenty of time to enjoy them and talk to the local people. We will return to Sangla for lunch in the local restaurants and later the rest of the day is free to relax in the mountain landscape or if you like you can walk to another nearby village or nature walk. We will have this second night at the same hotel/luxury tented accommodation at Sangla.

Today, after breakfast, drive to Kalpa, The most beautiful village of Kinnaur district, Kalpa offers breathtaking sights of early morning sunrise where the sun beautifully kisses snowy peaks with its crimson color. En route, we will stop at Reckong Peo and will have a walk around the local market. Reckong Peo is the district headquarters of Kinnaur district.

Visit Hu-Bu-Lan-Kar monastery was founded by Rinchensang-PO ( 950-1055 AD ). This hypnotized monastery is a sign of the centuries-old culture of India. Near the monastery, you will get a glimpse of Kinnaur culture and its colorful villagers.  We will have lunch in a local restaurant where you have a choice to enjoy Indian or Tibetan food. After lunch we will drive to Kalpa ( 7 km), you will check in to your hotel.  Later visit Narayan Nagini Temple that has the shrines of Hindu,

The evening would be free to relax and explore the Kalpa village and to enjoy the finest views of Mt. Kinner Kailash Mountain (6,000 meters). This is a spectacular sight early in the morning as the rising sun touches the snowy peaks with crimson and gold light.

Today, you will drive to Nako, en route visit Roghi Village: It is another beautiful small village full of Apple Orchards and other fruits like apricots, walnuts, chilghoza, etc. It is about 4 km beyond the Kalpa, on the edge of a mountain. You will drive through Puh and Powari. Upon reaching Nako,

Here you will check in to the hotel or in the luxury tented accommodation.

Later we will take you for a walk in the village with your guide and visit the Buddhist monastery related to guru Padmasambhava (a great Buddhist scholar, whose teachings spread to Tibet from India), we will also visit Nako Lake, the residence of His Holiness The Dalai Lama Ji.

Today, morning you may wish to walk to the nearby peaks with your guide and enjoy a wonderful view of the whole Nako village with the Himalayas as the backdrop of the village.

En-route visit the Gue village which is also the last Indian village on the Indo-Tibetan border. Here we will be visiting the naturally preserved mummy of a Buddhist monk which is about 600 years old, which was discovered here while building the road.

Later on, reach Tabo and check in to your hotel. In the evening visit the Tabo monastery which is the oldest monastery in the Himalayas. You have entered the beautiful Spiti valley which is also known as the cold desert of the Himalayas (this area is cut from the rest of the world due to heavy snow in the winters). the leisure of the day you may stroll through the village streets

Today, the drive to Kaza,en-route visit the Dhanker Village, this 1200-year-old Dhankar Gompa is nestled between rocks and offers sights that evoke imagination. The lower part of the monastery possesses a silver statue of Vajradhara. Beautiful ancient murals of Sakyamuni, Tsongkhapa and Lama Chodrag can be found in the second prayer hall situated at the top of the hill.

Drive on to Kaza, the main town in Spiti to reach by lunchtime & have lunch in Hotel.

Afternoon visit to Ki Monastery(1000-year-old). Ki (key) Monastery is the biggest and the oldest Buddhist learning center in Spiti Valley. Reckoned for its Pasada style architecture, the monastery is also famous for its ancient murals, rare Thangkas and ancient weapons. The major attraction of the monastery is the images of meditating Gautam Buddha.

Today we take it easy and just go to 6 villages of Langza, Komic, Hikkim, Ki, Kibber and Chicham. The uphill zigzag drive starts right out of Kaza, the first village we will be visiting is Langza which is famous for the gigantic Buddha statue and the fossil park.

Komic village which is the highest motorable village in Asia. The Komic monastery is home to a stuffed snow leopard. The village also owns a small monastery where women are not allowed during prayers.

From Komic we get down to Hikkim, home to the highest post office in the world. The houses in Hikkim, Spiti valley are made up of stones and mud with white-colored walls. The houses here are in groups, closely placed. Prayer flags fluttering near the houses are a pointer towards the presence of Buddhism in the village. Evening free to Shopping in Kaza - Kaza, although a small town, is famous for its pure wool shawls, carpets and woolen clothes. Ceramic items and local jewelry are also on the top list of buyers. Let's check out some major shopping outlets in the town.

After early breakfast, drive to Chandra Tal- The lake of the moon via Lohsar village and Kunzum Pass.

The drive on this day will be one of the highlights of the trip. Have a cup of tea at the last village of Spiti valley- Lohsar. After this, you will just get closer to the high mountains and all you will see is snow-capped peaks from Kunzum Pass and beyond. The hike to Chandra Tal lake is 20 mins from the barricade. The lake is a mesmerizing sight that will leave you speechless for sure. Spend the night at camp close to the lake.

Today will be our last day of journey- before you head back to civilization in Manali, This route people call it tough, some call it adventurous and some call the drive of their life-. It’s also the most scenic as you will keep on clicking pictures all the way. The road is virtually non-existence and rocks, dust, waterfalls and streams make the terrain very difficult. However, the snow-capped barren mountains, vast landscapes, and accompanying Chandra River makes the views worth taking all the trouble. Spend some time at Rohtang if time permits.

After the spectacular drive-through Spiti, Manali would not hold much merit, but it would be a shame not to visit the town as we cross it. It would be worthwhile to visit few places and then there are some amazing café’s which will be a delight after the basic food in Spiti.

Visit Hadimba Temple. Also known as Pagoda Temple is one of the richest heritages in Himachal Pradesh. The temple was built in 1553 and is dedicated to Goddess Hadimba. The beautiful architecture of the four-story temple was built in the 16th century. The entire temple highlights local craftsmanship.

In the afternoon visit Naggar. Naggar, a tranquil village situated on the foothills is famous for Naggar castle. The castle offers a beautiful view of the valley and snowcapped peaks of the Rohtang Pass on the clear sky day. The Roerich Art Gallery in Naggar displays oil paintings and the 1930’s Dodge car of the famous Russian artist, Gurudev Nikolai Roerich who lived in Naggar for many years.

Eating out in Manali - As famous as Manali for its breathtaking beauty and adventures; it is for its ‘places to eat. Of all the street-side stalls and cafes. Try a few places like Martin’s (Himalayan Sports Club), Casa Belle Vista, Pizza Olive, Blue Elephant Cafe, Dylans Toasted And Roasted Coffee House, La Plage, IL Forno, The Lazy Dog, Cafe 1947, Drifter’s Cafe and Johnson’s Café

In the morning transfer to Bhuntar airport to board a flight to Delhi.

Arrive in Delhi and transfer to the hotel room for wash & change / Day-use room

The rest of the day is free for shopping and other independent activities.

Later in time transfer to International airport flight back home.
