The wild side of our adventure takes place in the Bandhavgarh and Kanha National Parks, which are best known for their Bengal Tiger populations. Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be welcomed by our representative and escorted to your hotel.

The rest of the day is yours to relax and grab any last-minute necessities. 

Delhi: for all the right reasons, is the national capital of incredible India. Synonymous with diversity, Delhi has always been the epicenter of all activities in India which is reflected in its tourism. Right from the time of Pandavas, it has served as a major strategic and cultural hub of the country and rightly so, today it’s an exhibition of the history of India. Traveling in Delhi isn’t just limited to history but it’s a step to take past and present hand in hand. Blended with modern advancements, Delhi is the modern-day city of Troy. The amalgamation of all religions and spiritual hubs of different faiths coexisting together in peace is the testament of unity in diversity. Delhi offers numerous tourist attractions ranging from monuments, museums, shrines to modern-day markets. Exploring the city is like witnessing a mini-India, with Delhi Tourism being a reflection of the rich culture of India.

Morning visit, the Jama Masjid, the largest and most well-known mosque in India. Enjoy a rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk followed by the orientation walk in Asia’s Largest Spice Market. Old Delhi street food is best enjoyed in its original setting, in the noisy labyrinthine by-lanes of Chawri Bazaar and Chandni Chowk; drive pass by the Redd Fort - this mighty fort was built with red sandstones under the rule of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in 1638. Drive past Rajpath, the grand avenue that connects the official buildings to the monumental Gate of India; the parliament, you will see the India Gate: this triumphal arch bears the names of the 85,000 soldiers of the Indian army who died during World War I. 

After the visit transfer to the Railway station to board the train for Sawai Madhopur.

Upon arrival, meet our representative and drive to Ranthambore, arrive and check-in at Hotel.

Today, you will have two game drives into the park to try to catch a glimpse of one of the elusive tigers. Wake up early in the morning - one of the best times to catch a glimpse of these secretive animals - and leave for your first safari into the National Park. Ranthambore has one of the largest populations of tigers in India, and your experienced guides know the best places to visit to see the tigers. 

Return to the hotel, have breakfast and relax until lunch. In the afternoon, return to the park for your second safari. Also, visit the Ranthambore Fort which lies within the park premises itself. The fort was built around the 8th century by the Chauhans and has numerous attractions in store.

This morning you will embark game drive within the park.- can be seen, as well as the Indian hare, mongoose and monitor lizards. Among the other local fauna are the leopard, hyena, jackal, jungle cats, sloth bear and the marsh crocodile. The lakes and pools at the park are where the deer congregate and where it is easiest to see the animals.

In the morning visit the Keoladeo Ghana National Park, a world-heritage listed bird sanctuary by Cycle rickshaw ride. It is home to egrets, ducks, coots, storks, kingfishers, owls, eagles, and harriers, among others. In earlier times, the Maharaja (Prince) of Bharatpur diverted water from a nearby irrigation canal and used the created habitat to organize hunting parties for his guests. In 1956, it was converted into a bird sanctuary and is now home to over 360 species of birds. 

Drive to Agra, en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri (UNESCO Heritage Site), a remarkably preserved red sandstone fortress, which was the ephemeral capital of Emperor Akbar. Visit the Great Mosque, with the tomb of Sheikh Salim Chishti, the Jewel House also called Diwan-i-Khas (Audience Hall) containing the pillar of Akbar and the giant chessboard. Arrive Agra, check-in at hotel

The afternoon is left free for individual sightseeing or visiting the bazaar, where you can see the famous marble inlays produced by the descendants of the artisans who worked on the Taj Mahal.

Option: Mohabbat-e-Taj Show

Spend your evening watching the amazing Mohabbat-e-Taj Show depicting the romantic love story of Emperor Shah Jahan and his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal. It is a live show in the Hindi language and interpretation is available in English, French and German languages through headphones. Over 80 talented artists will perform this love story along with creative dance performances.

Today, you will visit the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, to visit this marvellous sight. Built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1653 in memory of his favourite wife Mumtaz Mahal, this iconic white marble building is a true monument to undying love and is the world's finest example of Mughal and Persian architecture. Then you will visit Red Fort, originating from the 15th century and considered India's most important fortification. Built on a hill above Agra, its centrepiece is a tower with a marble balcony where Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan spent his last days imprisoned.

Later in time transfer to Agra Railway Station to board Train for Jabalpur.

Arrive in Jabalpur early in the morning, meet and transfer to a nearby hotel for breakfast.

After breakfast, drive to Kanha National Park, arrive and check into your hotel. Created in 1974, Kanha covers approximately 750 square miles (1945 sq. km) of diverse terrain with grasslands, plateaus, and rocky escarpments providing a home to a number of species of wildlife. Tigers, leopards, bison, many species of deer, monkeys and a good number of birds roam freely within its wild spaces, giving Kanha the unofficial title as "India's best-managed wildlife reserve". 

Afternoon is free to relax and soak in the atmosphere or pay a visit to the nearby village.

Today, take two jeep safaris into the park- one early in the morning before the heat of the day, and the second in the afternoon after lunch. There is also an option to go on an elephant ride in the morning instead of the jeeps- since wildlife is less likely to be startled by elephants than noisy jeeps, you may have more successful wildlife viewings. Keep an eye out for the beautiful chital deer- you can spot the males by their impressive meter-long antlers and spotted rufous coats.

Today, after early breakfast, drive to Bandhavgarh National Park. Bandhavgarh is home to a wide variety of rare and endangered animals including the insectivorous sloth bear, the impressively large gaur (the largest living bovine native to India), the majestic sambar deer, chital, wild pig, and a wide variety of birds. The park also has the highest Bengal tiger density in the world, so keep your eyes peeled for signs of tracks. Like in Kanha, most game drives in Bandhavgarh are also undertaken by jeep, arrive and check-in at Hotel

The afternoon takes a game drive to visit Bandhavgarh National park by jeep safari.

Today, take a game drive early in the morning by jeep to see some wonderful wildlife species and return to your hotel to rest for lunch. In the afternoon make another foray into the park by Jeep. Besides tigers, you may also catch a glimpse of the leopards that have a large breeding population in this national park. For the avid bird watcher or botanist, there are a plethora of bird and plant species to be seen here.

Today, after early breakfast, drive to Khajuraho. Khajuraho is a small town located in the Bundelkhand region (Chhatarpur District) of Madhya Pradesh and is famous for groups of unique Hindu and Jain temples. These temples are a UNESCO World Heritage Site for their beautiful and erotic rock carvings. The Vindhya mountain range forms an incredible backdrop behind the village, making Khajuraho an even more beautiful place to visit. Upon arrival, check into the hotel, 

Afternoon visit both the western and eastern groups of temples. There were originally nearly 100 separate temples built between 950 and 1050 CE, each dedicated to a different deity. Only 20 of these temples still exist and are considered the finest in India for their unmatched workmanship and intricate details. Parsavanatha Temple - The largest in the group of three Jain temples, Ghantai Temple - This Jain temple has a fresco depicting the 16 dreams of Mahavira's mother, and a multi-armed Jain goddess perched on a winged Garuda, Adinatha Temple - The last of the Jain temples dedicated to the Jain saint, Adinatha. Later visit the Western group of Temples- Kandariya Mahadev belongs to this group. Other temples of the western group are Vishwanath Temple - The temple enshrines a three-headed image of Lord Brahma, Lakshamana Temple - The lintel over the entrance of this temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu shows the holy trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva with Goddess Lakshmi, Vishnu's consort, Chaunsath Yogini - The oldest surviving temple in the group, Chitragupta Temple - Dedicated to the sun-god, Surya, Matangeshwara Temple - This temple, which happens to be outside the precincts of the western group, is dedicated to Lord Shiva.

This fascinating Son-et-Lumiere spectacle evokes the life and times of the great Chandela Kings and traces the story of the unique temples from the 10th century to the present day. Mounted in the complex of the western group of temples, the 50 mins show runs in Hindi and English every evening.

After breakfast, drive to Jhansi Railway Station, on your way you will visit the historical city of Orchha. It is a beautiful region rising out of hills located on the banks of river Betwa (approx. 16km from Jhansi). It proudly houses historical monuments which have retained their charm till date and narrate evergreen tails of war – peace to the whole world. It was discovered by Bundela Rajput Rudra Pratap in the 16th century. Temples of Orchha and Phool Bagh are famous tourist destinations one should definitely not miss. One can also visit the multi-tiered Jehangir Mahal which was built in 1606 and has gained recognition for its fine murals and the Rai Praveen Mahal.

After the visit transfer to the Jhansi railway station to board the train to Delhi. 

Upon arrival, you will meet and transfer to the Hotel room for Wash and Change.

Later transfer to international airport to board flight for back home.

On every Wednesday, the Evening Safari shift remains closed for visitors at Bandhavgarh / Kanha  National Park. During Holi, Diwali (celebrated in the month of March & November), both the safari shifts remain closed.
