Arrive Colombo , upon arrival at Colombo Airport, you will be met and transferred to the hotel in Negombo and check in at the Jetwing Blue(Room booked for immediate check in)

Later  visit Muthurajawela Marsh, which evocatively translates as ‘Supreme Field of Pearls’, is a little-known gem of a wetland at the southern end of Negombo’s lagoon. A boat ride offers sightings of some 75 bird species, including purple herons, cormorants and kingfishers, as well as crocodiles, monkeys and even some very rarely seen otters.

The area had been a rich rice-growing basin before the Portuguese constructed a canal that flooded the fields with sea water. Over the centuries, Mother Nature turned Muthurajawela into Sri Lanka’s biggest saline wetland.

Today, travel by road to Drive to Sigiriya, enroute visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where an orphanage was started in 1975 to house theabandoned and the wounded elephants. The number ofelephants has increased to more than 65 now; includingBaby Elephants brought from various parts, as well assome of the more than 25 babies born, as a result of thecaptive breeding program. The best time to visit is thefeeding time from 0915-0945hrs and 1415-1445hrs andthe bathing time from 1000-11.00hrs and 1500-1600hrswhen all the elephants are taken to the river close by. Arrive Sigiriya and  check in at the hotel

Today,  visit Dambulla Caves,is a vast isolated rock mass 500 feet high and a mile around the base. Here is found the famous Rock Temple dating to the First Century B.C. The caves of Dambulla sheltered King Walagamba during his 14 years of exile from Anuradhapura. When he regained the throne he built the most magnificent of Rock Temples to be found in the Island.

In the first Cave is a recumbent image of the Buddha 47ft long cut out of the Rock. There are images of deities associated with Buddhism all around. The frescoes on the walls and the ceiling are the oldest here but they have been painted over during the Kandy period.

In the Second Cave, the finest and the largest of all, there are 150 life-size statues of the Buddha in various postures with few statues of Gods and Kings. The ceiling is also covered with frescoes, which depict great events in the life of the Buddha and landmarks in the history of the Sinhalese people.

In the afternoon mounting the rock fortress of Sigiriya – a 5th Century “Fortress in the Sky”.Sigiriya is a “World Heritage Site” and the 5th Century “Fortress in the Sky” which is perhaps the most fantastic single wonder of the Island. It is also known as Lion Rock because of the huge lion that used to stand at the entrance to the Palace on the summit of the 600-foot high rock. On its summit are the foundations of the Royal Palace, Water Tanks to supply water and all other buildings and at the edges the guardhouses.

The Water Gardens, Fountain Garden, summerhouse, Boulder Gardens and the Caves within the enclosed area should not be missed.

Today we continue on our journey to the cultural city of Kandy. En route we stop at Spice Garden in Matale. The guided visit in spice garden where you find the variety of spices available in Sri Lanka and the visit will terminate with a quick shoulder massage.Arrive Kandy and check in at the hotel

Afternoon: visit Kandy – the hill capital is another “UNESCO Heritage Sites”. It was the last stronghold of the Sinhalese Kings during the Portuguese, Dutch and British rule although finally ceded to the British in 1815. To the Buddhist of Sri Lanka and the World, Kandy is one of the most sacred sites as it is the home of the “DaladaMaligawa” - Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. Today it is the center of Buddhism, Arts, Crafts, Dancing, Music and Culture.

Evening witness of Dance & Music at the daily Cultural Performances held at several places in the city.

Today, Travel by road to Nillathaniya, enroute stop at Kitulgala. It is in the wet zone rain forest, which gets two monsoons each year, and is one of the wettest places in the country. The Academy Award-winning “The Bridge on the River Kwai” was filmed on the Kelani River near Kitulgala, although nothing remains now except the concrete foundations for the bridge (and, supposedly, the submerged train cars that plunged into the river in the climactic scene). Enjoy white-water rafting which starts a few kilometers upstream. Arrive and  check in at the hotel

Rest of the day at leisure

Midnight hiking to the Adam's Peak.Adam’s Peak, also known as Sri Pada, is a 2,243m (7,359 ft) mountain in the central highland region of Sri Lanka. Popular for Sri Lankans and tourists alike. The typical climb is started in the middle of the night so you can reach the peak for a breathtaking sunrise.

Today, transfer to Hatton, here board train to NanuOya, arrive and  transfer to hotel Nuwara Eliya and for check-In.  

In the afternoon visit Tea Factory and Tea Plantation. When you are in a town surrounded by tea estates, a tea plucking and factory experience is a must! You can observe how Ceylon tea is plucked by experts and even join in and try your hand at tea plucking. Then move on to the factory to learn the process of fine tea making. At the end of your tour, sip a warm cup of fresh tea while you gaze into the massive estates of tea.

Visit  Gregory Lake, The lake is situated in the heart of the NuwaraEliya town a relaxing boat ride or a walk around the gardens to enjoy the view are a few activities that visitors to the lake can entail in

Later walk around the town to explore the British architecture.

Early morning at 5:30AM to visit Horton Plains and walk the 8kms to the World’s End. We then return to our hotel for some rest and refreshment.

Horton Plains National Park is a protected area in the central highlands of Sri Lanka and is covered by montane grassland and cloud forest. This plateau at an altitude of 2,100–2,300 metres (6,900–7,500 ft.) is rich in biodiversity and many species found here are endemic to the region. This region was designated a national park in 1988. The sheer precipice of World's End and Baker's Falls are among the tourist attractions of the park

Then transfer to the town of Bandarawela where we begin our cycling expedition down to Yalaan amazing experience. We cycle down till the plains of Wellawaya (around 35 kms.) before transferring the remaining distance to Yala.

Early morning Safari at Yala National Park: We begin the day with an early morning Safari. Our experienced drivers will strive to find the best scouting points to observe the animals. Yala is famous for its big herds and large number of Elephants, Leopards, Spotted Deer, Sambhur, Crocodiles, Mongoose, Wild Boar, Wild Buffalo, and many other animals. More than 130 bird species are recorded which includes the resident and winter visitors.

Then head to the beach and surf paradise in Weligama. Your hotel has the best location to catch the waves or just relax in a sunbed. Where you spend 3 serene nights.

WHALE WATCHING Sri Lanka is situated within the International Whale watching Commission's protected zone in the Indian Ocean. Of the 80 species of cetaceans observed and identified worldwide, 26 are found in the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal. Whale and dolphin watching is a seasonal activity in Sri Lanka, available on the SOUTH WEST COAST from November to March while the east coast off TRINCOMALEE is preferable from June to September.

Today, transfer by road to Galle. Enroute visit Stiltfishermen,is an old tradition method of catching fish practiced by around 500 fishing families in Galle, in southwestern-most Sri Lanka,

The section of coast between Dalawela and Ahangama is the best place to witness one of Sri Lanka’s most emblematic sights, stilt fishermen. The stilts consist of a single pole and crossbar planted out in the sea, on which fishermen perch while casting their lines when the currents are flowing in the right direction (most likely to happen between Oct and Dec. Arrive and check in at the hotel

Today, you will visit Galle Fort, which offers a charming reminder of the Dutch colonial era. Constructed in 1663, the fort encompasses a remarkable collection of European architectural structures and Sri Lankan traditions, and was named a World Heritage Site in 1988. Groote Kerk (Great Church) is the mother church of the Dutch Reformed Church in South Africa .

Walk in most historically interesting town is Galle. It was a major port until about 100 years, but today still handles shipping and sailing boats in the natural harbour.

Stroll around the lighthouse and harbour or visit the old town where you can see the traditional lace makers and wood carvers and purchase some the finest souvenirs.

Later Cook like a local -Learn to prepare a delicious meal with a Galle based host whose expertise in cooking has brought her much fame in the area. Whether it’s a Biryani, a Seafood feast or hot hoppers with accompaniments, she will take you through an unforgettable culinary journey.)

Morning around 8.30 am and then transfer to Colombo, en route do Balapitiya boat ride, while the ride you will get the chance to witness some birds (Bird Watching) ,  The River House is popular amongst bird watchers as well due to the many rare species that can be spotted here.

Option:Fish Therapy, This was introduced to Madu Ganga several years ago. It seems now there are several Fish Therapy places by this river. Different types of fish are put in to tanks, which are floating on the river. Visitors can immerse their feet to these tanks and fish stats biting. You will feel ticklish when they nibble your dead skin on the feet.

On completion transfer to Colombo and check in at the hotel

Later drive through the city taking you to the busy commercial areas as well as the tree-lined residential, Cinnamon Gardens. Visit Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street - the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area, where is also a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings and the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal dating back to 1749. Also visit the BMICH, see the replica of Avukana Buddha and Independence Square.

Shopping- visit Mlesna exquisite tea boutique, cashew nut shop, ready made garments and all sorts at Majestic City. Visit the Lanka Ceramics Centre, a place where you can buy “NORITAKE SET” or other ceramic items, visit the ‘ODEL SHOP’  at Lipton Place. Visit ’BAREFOOT’, ’HOUSE OF FASHION’ and 'BEVERLY STREET' – 24 hours shopping arcade (garments only) at Kollupitya.
